Mom owned a five and dime/candy store in the 1960s and 1970s. The store has been closed since 1976 and many of her old stock items were discovered after her passing in a storage facility. I have been selling off many Christmas, valentines, and Halloween candy boxes. The cardboard boxes are decorated with crêpe paper, gold, trim, ribbons, and are very unique to the mid-century era
Featured here is a hexagon shaped box trimmed with a pumpkin headed Goblin on top. I found four of these and selling with other vintage boxes as shown The boxes about 3 inches and diameter and stands about 5inches tall with the spun cotton, headed Goblin made of Chenille and crêpe paper.
The second box is a round box with crepe paper cornstalk and German Diecut Jack o lantern

I believe these boxes held a small cellophane bag with candy. Many of the boxes that were discovered were destroyed and I’m only selling off the ones in suitable condition. Some items have been re- glued if needed
