Vintage Palmgren Model 400 Lathe Milling Attachment in good used condition.This is a heavy-duty Palmgren accessory designed to convert a conventional engine lathe for light milling operations. The attachment mounts to the lathe compound/cross-slide area and provides vertical adjustment for positioning the work relative to a milling cutter held in the lathe spindle.Features a heavy cast-iron angle base, vertical dovetail slide, screw-type vertical adjustment, graduated adjustment collar, and adjustable/slotted mounting arrangement.Clearly marked PALMGREN 400 on the casting.This is an older American-made machinist accessory and is becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly in this condition.Condition: Vintage used condition with normal shop wear, discoloration and surface marks from age and use.
