Offered for sale is a Pelikan R400 rollerball in black resin with gold trim, marked W‑Germany on the cap band. This is a pre‑1990 production piece with the crisp 2‑chick finial, clean gold trim, and sharp imprints. The pen shows only light scuffs and presents extremely well.
Includes the original Pelikan clamshell box (minor exterior scuffs) and the original R400 clip tag, which is rarely still present. Trim is bright with no brassing. Imprints are crisp and fully legible.
A Pelikan rollerball refill and a Monteverde refill are included.A highly collectible early Pelikan R400 in excellent condition.
