Real photo view of a flooded Main Street, captioned "Main St" in white handwriting on the front. Rippling floodwater covers the entire street, with gas pumps and their signs standing in the water in front of a service building, and an oval sign on a post nearby. A gabled building and other structures line the street beyond, with trees in the background and part of a lettered storefront at the right edge. On the back, a handwritten note describes how high the water rose the night of the flood. Unused, with an AZO stamp box, circa 1926–1940s, and pencil notations on the back reading "Plymouth, Mass." A great piece for collectors of Massachusetts topographical postcards, gas station and petroliana real photos, or New England flood and disaster history.
