Description: View of Coolidge Dam (also known as San Carlos Dam) in Arizona, showing the crest of the dam with its decorative railing, the massive concrete arch structure, spillways, and the reservoir stretching into the distance. The dam was constructed across the Gila River and upon completion was the largest multiple-dome dam in the world, a notable feat of 1920s engineering. This card is of collector interest for its depiction of a historic Arizona water infrastructure landmark.

The sender writes: "Dear Sis, Having a wonderful trip, wonderful scenery, had sunshine to Yosemite, then it poured rain in Arizona. It's a wonderful trip to take, we are going to many miles as yet to Mammoth Canyon [?] to all Max."
