«Singer Company» in 1854, Singer, together with Edward Clark, established the Singer Company partnership. Initially, all trade in Singer sewing machines in Russia was concentrated in the hands of Georg Neidlinger, a German citizen who had a head warehouse in Hamburg and 65 branches in Russia. When the company's products firmly established itself in the Russian market, the company management decided to take over the entire trade in sewing machines and in 1897 founded the joint-stock company Singer Manufacturing Company.
