Mint Pre 1964 Puma 6387 White Hunter With Stag Handles Mint In Presentation Box.The model number is 6377. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. The knife has Genuine Pumaster Steel Germany Blade.

There is no guarantee control number since it was hand made before 1964. This indicates this knife was handmade at Puma Works.

This model of 6377 White Hunter is very seldom seen. The White Hunter comes with the factory Puma Sheath and Puma Gold Booklet.

The model number is 6377 Model. This knife was hand made at PumaWerks.The handle is genuine stag. This knife hassilver fittings. The stag handles are nice and well matched.

The knife is 10 1/2" long with a 6" blade.This fine German hunting knife also is etched: 6377 -PUMA WHITE HUNTER - GENUINE PUMASTER STEEL GERMANY.

The White Hunter Developed in 1956 for the East African hunting organization EAPHA, the PUMA "white hunter" quickly became known worldwide as the ultimate outdoor knife and is now considered an extremely popular classic.

It's blade shape is meticulously thought out and effortlessly meets every conceivable requirement.

The sturdy tip is tough enough to open cans or pry open crown caps. A hatchet edge is ground into the center of the back of the blade for rough work such as splitting firewood or chopping bones. In addition, the blade has a practical saw tooth in the back of the cutting edge to cut green branches, fish skin or similar material with a firm surface.

The 6377 White Hunter model in this classic design is equipped with selected stag horn scales, which are firmly riveted to the tang that goes fully through the handle. With all these attributes, the original "white hunter" is an innovative knife that still has no equal.

The knife features a Puma presentation box. It has gorgeous stag handles with lots of character. The knife is a full tang construction.

The Puma knife comes with thefactory presentation and leather sheath.

This Puma knife was hand made in Solingen Germany. It is truly a rare Puma knife that were made to the the highest quality in Solingen Germany.

Note: The Puma plaque and wood stand does not come with the knife.

In cooperation with top forestray commissioner Walte Frevert, a numerous PUMA classics are developed (Waidbesteck, Jagdnicker, Waidmesser, universal hunting knife and hog spear). The bloodhound leader Tassius designs the Rüdemann and the Wildtöte.1956
PUMA develops the model White Hunter for the East african hunting organization.1964
PUMA introduces the number system. Every model gets an examining number of its own, incl. guarantee exercise book, with production year.1967
Renate von Frankenberg takes over the management in the PUMA-Werk.1986
Oswald von Frankenberg and Ludwigsdorf dies and leaves an economically highly profitable and internationally recognized enterprise behind.1991
Sale of PUMA-Werk to the Solinger family Hindrichs.1995
Harald Lauer, already active in the enterprise since the end of the seventies, becomes Managing director of PUMA-Werk. Under his management new production methods are forced, e.g. CNC controllers and laser technology.1998
Sale to businessman Heiner Hiepass-Aryus and removal to the modern industrial area "Aufderhöhe".2003
