Model 1835/42 Socket Bayonet. Blade face is marked \"U.S.\" over crossed arrows. It is straight, some light nicks, has age spots, and a little light pitting with some minor surface rust scattered throughout. The locking ring is attached and functional. Length of the blade measures 18\" (7/8\" wide x 7/16\" thick), and the bayonet is 20 5/8\". The socket is 2 5/8\". The muzzle hole is 13/16\". Check out my otherWaritems!!
