Recovered from the famous Lee Creek phosphate mine in Aurora NC. This mine has been closed to collectors since 2008.
Aurora NC fossil shark teeth are highly prized by collectors due to their unique colors and excellent preservation.
Good preservation. Nice shape. Solid root with dinged corners and hydration cracks. Great bourlette and glossy enamel. Great serrations with some nicks. Tip has feeding injury. Solid and heavy.
