Up for sale is an authentic, highly collectible pair of 1965 Mid-Century Modern peacock wall plaques by Masketeers Inc.
This iconic mirrored set features beautifully grained solid oak wood bodies, vibrant teal-green anodized metal tail feathers, and brass head crests.
All pictures are from the two 1965 Peacocks
Please review the photos carefully for condition:
Wood Bodies: The wood frames are structurally sound with no cracks. There is some finish wear, some flaking, and loss to the original green-tinted lacquer in some areas on the wings and upper neck area, exposing the natural oak wood grain underneath (see close-up photos). Original.
Metal Work: The layered metal tail feathers retain beautiful color depth with minimal aging
Hardware: Hanging brackets are intact on the reverse side.
This pair is being sold As-Is, making it an excellent opportunity for a light restoration project, or to be displayed proudly with its authentic vintage patina!
(Approximate per Peacock) Length: 34"Height: 14"
