Remarks: This very rare large 9.5" Scagel Style Hunter fixed blade from the illustrious American Blade Society Master Smith, P.J. Tomes features beautiful stacked leather stag handle with classic red, white and blue spacers. Incredible 'Fit and Finish" as expected from this esteemed Master Smith!

Condition - Excellent condition with perhaps only minor storage wear and handling on blade and sheath. Please see picture #2 for example where leather sheath shows very minor handling surface marks. Never used, carried or sharpened. We do not overly clean the knives - we leave that to your discretion.These are vintage knives held by long time collector. Please look closely at pics and feel free to ask any questions before offerding or buying.

P.J. Tomes is a renowned and beloved Master Smith in the American Bladesmith Society and is known for his classic designs. He began making knives full time in 1976 and joined the Knifemaker's Guild in 1978.
