Randall Model 12 Smithsonian Bowie 11\" Blade Wood Handle Brass Sheath P17 For Sale

This is the large Smithsonian Bowie pattern, featuring a wood handle, brass butt cap, and lugged brass hilt. The handle appears to be rosewood, but I have not independently verified the exact wood species.

The knife retains its factory edge and does not appear to have been used.

The blade is generally very clean, but there are some minor cosmetic imperfections from storage and age. There is slight dulling/tarnish near the edge on the right side of the blade, several light surface scratches on the left side, and a very small dark oxidation spot near the tip. Please see the close-up photos.

The leather sheath shows minor rubbing, light surface marks, and some darkening from storage. The stitching and snap hardware remain intact.

A very impressive large Randall Bowie with strong display presence and excellent overall condition.
