Vintage ceramic tobacco jar humidor, manufactured by the historic Hall China Company (East Liverpool, Ohio) and stamped "MADE IN U.S.A." on the base. This rare piece beautifully bridges American art pottery craftsmanship with premium mid-century tobacciana culture.
The exterior features Hall’s signature durable glaze over a warm cream ceramic body. It is decorated with an intricate, blue-toned illustration of a Native American figure wearing a feathered headdress and smoking a pipe, framed elegantly by large tobacco leaves. The word "TABACCO" is boldly displayed across the lower front profile, and the top rim is highlighted with a brilliant, polished gold-tone accent.
The solid wood lid is heavily engineered for functional preservation. The underside features a built-in clay/porcelain humidifier mechanism designed to hold a moisture element to keep your pipe tobacco perfectly fresh. It still carries an authentic vintage paper guarantee label from the prestigious Royal Tobacco Works (J. & A.C. Van Rossem) of Rotterdam, Holland (Established 1750).
