Available for sale is a vintage yellow Le Creuset Oval Dutch Oven Stamped \"E\".

This fabulous Le Creuset dutch oven in Elysées Yellow is a rare find from the 1950s-1960\'s.

Elyseés yellow is a vintage pale buttery yellow enameled cast iron color introduced by Le Creuset in 1955 &1956.The color differs significantly from modern, brighter Le Creuset yellows like Nectar or Soleil.

The oval-shaped enamel cast iron pot measures approximately 11.5\" long (without handles) by 9\" wide and 4.5\" deep. It has a capacity of 4.5qts and has double handles for easy lifting.

It is compatible with induction, electric, and gas stoves.

Vintage Le Creuset pieces from the 1950s used a letter-code sizing system stamped on the bottom and/or the lid rather than modern numeric quart measurements.

This rare piece is in in great condition with just a couple of small minor chips on the outer rim. The interior appears unused.
