Rare Stangl Pottery Applique dealer sign made in Trenton, New Jersey. The Applique pattern was produced by Stangl in 1964 - 1965 and the dealer sign would have sat on a store counter or table to advertise the Stangl Applique pottery that would be for sale in the store. Applique was intended to resemple Wedgewood and consisted of raised white floral motif on a colored background of either satin white, blue, or green.
The dealer sign has white raised lettering on a backgound of a milky gray color that has a hint of blue. The sign measures approximately 6 inches in length and 3 inches in height. Weight of the sign is approximately 0.4 pounds.
Please see all 19 photographs as they are part of the description. The dealer sign is in excellent condition and displays very well as you can tell from the photographs. There are no chips, breaks, repairs, or crazing.
I could not find a previous sale of the Stangl Applique dealer sign on the internet making this dealer sign extremely rare. If you are a collector of Stangl dealer signs or a collector of the Applique pattern, this sign is a must have for your collection.
