Rare Vintage California Redwood Wall plaque handcarved handpainted 1937 1940s For Sale

Early rare Vintage Spanish lady carrying a jar of water walking past a fountain and a Mexican man watching her approach him. He is very handsome in his bolero vest and fancy pants while smoking a cigarette. She has on a pretty red dress. The craved Redwood scene has palm leaves tree, a 3D look with the handcarved red at the base of the fountain, and a large vase in the foreground. She is barefooted walking on the pavers from the hillside are adobe houses with red tiled roofs.This is handcrafted and hand painted, signed by AD from 1937 to 1940s. Has the original jute rope hanger.On the back still has the gold sticker that read "MISSION BISCUIT CO. SAN FRANCISCO. I have almost sold out of my collection of these, I think I only have 2 left now. Most of the other ones had a sticker on the back that used to " This is made of California Redwood, and these trees grow mighty tall. May your happiness be bigger than the mightiest of them all."This piece shows some nicks and scratches but they don't distract from its beauty. Bright long lasting colors in a Spanish theme.Early 1937 to 1940s California Redwood wall hanging panel hand craved and painted. Measurements are 11x15-1/2 inches. Its approximately 1/2 thick.
