Rare Vtg Millers Falls No 2 Early Wrap-Around Frame Hand Drill 1885-1894Up for sale is a rare early Millers Falls No. 2 eggbeater-style hand drill. The drill is in good working condition, and the parts move and function as they should. It is in as-found condition and has not been cleaned or oiled.
This is an early version of the No. 2 model with the early wraparound frame. Based on a couple of details, the drill likely dates from 1885-1894. Drills with this frame were only made 14-1/2\" long during that period, and the red drive gear was only used after 1885. This makes the 1885-1894 date range likely.
A nice, rare collectible drill that deserves a restoration.
