This is a standard style die box.

The Die Box is a classic, interactive comedy magic effect loved by audiences of all ages.

The magician places a large wooden die inside a decorative two-compartment wooden box. The magician claims they will make the die vanish and slide it into the box. Every time the box is tilted, the audience clearly hears a loud sliding sound, and when one side is opened, the die is \"gone\"—only for the audience to loudly call out that it simply slid to the other side! After a back-and-forth comedy sequence of opening doors, tilting the box, and sliding the die back and forth, the magician opens all four doors simultaneously. The die has completely vanished, only to reappear in a completely separate location [such as a hat, bag, or across the room].
