Attention enthusiasts of antique lanterns, radios and such.
I offer for your consideration my listing for a 3D printed 6-12v Lantern Battery adapter which houses up to (6) 18650 or 26650 Rechargeable LiIon batteries. This replica is a modern take of my popular MN918 replica which uses 4D-cells. The advantage of this new design is that the LiIon cells YOU supply can be charged in the replica via the USB-C charging port; no need to disassemble. Additionally, this replica contains a buck transformer which allow the voltage to be set anywhere from 4.2 to 12 volts via the pot adjustment screw. There is also an external switch to cut power to the terminals when not in use.
Dimensions are standard to a MN918 (4LR25-2) battery pack at 134.5x71x111.75mm (LxWxH). Distances between posts is 76.1mm. The output terminals are solid brass #8x32 screws with knurled nuts. Output voltage at the brass terminals is limited to 3amps.
This adapter is compatible with MN918, 4LR25-2 & 918A. Voltage will be set to 6v during construction unless otherwise requested.
Disclaimer:
- This sale is for the 3D printed adapter and does not include 18650 batteries shown or the vintage Rayovac lantern.
- Do not mix battery sizes or performance ratings
As this is a 3D printed part, there may be some slight blemishes due to the printing process. This in no way weakens or affects the functionality of the adapter.
Buy with confidence. This adapter is made in the USA with materials sourced domestically.
