42 pages + publisher\'s ads. 12mo (7 by 4 1/2 inch) stapled pamphlet with printed wraps.

Vertical bend to about half the book (SEE PICS), white stain front (SEE PIC), light wear to corners & along spine (SEE PICS), o/w still solidly stapled & GOOD CONDITION.

The occultist who used the pen name Sepharial was reputedly a Theosophist and a student of H. P. Blavatsky. His original name was apparently Walter Richard Old, but he was also known under the name Walter Gorn Old. He wrote extensively on general occultism, numerology, and a great deal on astrology. He was active near the latter part of the 19th and the early part of the 20th century.

This present title may be a first edition, and first published in 1897, but it is not dated, so I refer to it as merely an unknown edition, though certainly early and probably no later than around 1900.
