Up for offer is a specimen of the EXCEEDINGLY RARE MARTIAN meteorite, Shergotty! The Shergotty meteorite was WITNESSED to fall 25 August, 1865 in the Gaya District of Bihar, India. This is an historic witnessed falls and is classified as an exceedingly rare Martian Sergottite meteorite from MARS. The Martian \'S\' Shergottite part of the \'SNC\' group of martian meteorites is named after this fall! This is a genuine meteorite micro specimen consisting of a small fragment weighing approx. 2 milligrams housed in a 1\" round holder. Shergotties are EXCEEDINGLY RARE and Shergotty ishighly coveted in collections. This specimen was obtained from the Hupé Collection and will come with the original ID card. The specimen will also come with an ID card stating it is from my collection, that serves as my personal certificate of authenticity.Specimens of this fall are exceedingly rare, highly coveted in collections, and extremely expensive when encountered.
