Sevres Antique French Porcelain Cvd Urn Jar Bronze Ormolu Mounts 19th c EXCEL For Sale

I just purchased this antique Sevres porcelainlidded jar / urn from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The piece was produced by the famedManufactory during the mid 19th century and has a striking Rococoinspired design. The porcelain insertsfeature elaborate floral / ribbon bouquets surrounded by a pink border withfine gold flecks. The bronze ormolumounts have a warm patina consistent over the piece. The urn measures 9” high at the pineapplefinial and 3” wide at the shoulder. Thebase bears the pictured Sevres hand painted blue mark. Both the jar and lid are in excellentcondition. This striking urn would makea fine addition to your collection of 19th century Sevresporcelains.
