Gorgeous Vintage Sherborne Hummingbird Enamel Tabletop Frame (Please note the Easel and Insert Glass are Missing)
Made by Sherborne Frame Company this is an ornate Art Nouveau inspired design, heavily decorated with detailed hummingbirds, floral accents, and climbing vines all on a vibrant green enameled base
The sculpted borders is embellished with Austrian Crystals and Red jeweled accents and detailed metal hardware with crystals in the back to hold the easel, picture and glass in place.
This is a fabulous design - very opulent, minimalist style that was made popular by Jay Strongwater who was famous for luxury brands.
This piece is dated late 20th century (around 1990). The interesting part is that it was designed in the United States and assembled/manufactured in China
The condition of this frame (minus the easel and glass) is in very good vintage condition - there in minimal enamel wear and all the crystal are intact and in place
