Spiers No 6 Dovetailed Infill Smoothing Plane 7 1/2\" Long 2 1/4\" with Marples Iron
Lovely old Spiers of Ayr plane. Sole is dovetailed to the sides. Some tarnish to the metal work and pitting to the sole (back left side) and a little to the sides, see pictures. Rear wooden infill has a repaired crack visible at the back.
To get the best out of this tool may require further sharpening and or honing of the edge.Please see photos for details of item and condition.
