St. Bernadette Vintage & New Medal Catholic France Patron For Illness A. Penin For Sale

A very unique opportunity to purchase a 'never before sold' vintage medal  featuring St. Bernadette, Patron for illness, shepherds and shepherdesses. 4 grams. 3/4 in diameter. On the back is  the Sacred Heart of Jesus that was designed by Lasserre. The medal was struck at the renowned Adolphe Penin foundry in Lyon France. This medal is silver and two or possibly three alloys. From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1962 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and silver medals and medallions as well as crucifixes and rosaries from France.  This medal is actually an antique and is between 60 and 115 years old.  It has never been owned or worn by anyone.
