Stevens And Williams Jeweled Glass Sculpture With « Jewell » Glass For Sale

In 1886, Stevens and Williams developed a casing glass that trapped air bubbles internally. They resemble jewels. Each S & W jewelled piece was engraved with the English registry #55693, as is this piece. This sculpture involves a sturdy glass vine that wraps around the jewelled rose bowl and bud vase. A fantastic and very rare piece of English glass history.
