Exquisite antique Stevens & Williams Victorian art glass vase dating to the late 19th century, approximately c. 1880–1900.
This highly decorative hand-worked vase features a soft pink-to-amber body rising into a long twisted yellow-green neck, with an amber-toned foot and elaborate applied pink glass decoration. Delicate loop handles extend from the upper body, while rows of individually applied pink glass elements create a striking sculptural effect.
The combination of contrasting colored glass, elaborate hot-applied decoration, delicate hand-worked construction and distinctly Victorian form makes this an exceptional display piece.
The vase is unsigned. Many examples of late-19th-century Stevens & Williams art glass were produced without a visible factory signature or mark.
