He is an Australian swagman--"Waltzing Matilda" meansto travel on foot, from place to place, carrying one's belongings in a bundle slung over one's back.His hat has hanging corks to shew away insects--quite functional. He seems to have a pet wallaby (or a young kangaroo). How fun! This fellow is in Very Good Condition--the Wallaby has a little ding at his shoulder. He has been displayed in glass curio cabinet since I purchased him in Australia in about 1988. His tag is attached. I need to downsize or I wouldn't part with him!
