Plains Tribes Antique Native American Tomahawk/War Axe/Hatchet
Authentic, one-of-a-kind hand-made antique Native American piece from the 1800's. Not sure of the exact tribal affiliation of this piece but it's likely Sioux, Cheyenne or Comanche.
The axe head is made of metal, probaby iron. The handle is made of wood with 9 metal studs on eack side and has a buckskin leather strap wrapping around it. There are also several buckskin tassels with beads. A beautiful and very rare piece.
