This is a \'crazy / patchwork\' quilt from turn of century. We are dating it by the Foraker Club which was for an Ohio Senator late 1800\'s, but the club went on until early 1900\'s. From the town of Winchester, southern Ohio.size 65 x 48Nine patches, all various fabric - including silk and velvet.- I do not know other fabric types.There are Pictures of EACH square - so you can see detailBack is red very smooth surface satin? hand stitched. - border is 3/8 also hand stitched.
Never used on a bed, we have had it hanging for over 50 years, in a frame, covered with plexiglass and attached with thin fishing line to poster board. We had it framed for MIL 50 years ago.It was attached at each corner and two sides [ presumably the sides] with a thin sticky tape? very small sections, so it would not \'pull itself down\', and lose shape.
