Capture the fierce character of Australia’s most iconic marsupial with this life-sized Tasmanian Devil skull replica, crafted with anatomical precision. This 2-part model, featuring a separate cranium and jaw, is ideal for educational use, collectors of native fauna, and natural history displays.
The Tasmanian devil is the largest living carnivorous marsupial. Compact and muscular, it boasts an incredibly strong bite force—rivaling that of a spotted hyena, pound for pound. Devils are known for their piercing vocalizations, used during scavenging encounters to establish dominance and territory. Once widespread across mainland Australia, their range is now restricted to Tasmania, largely due to competition with dingoes. More recently, the species has been devastated by Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD), a contagious cancer that has drastically reduced populations in affected areas.
