USPS gives a longer delivery estimate after purchasing because the initial estimate is a generic calculation based on shipping method and distance, while the later, more accurate estimate is based on the package\'s actual transit and processing at the time of the first scan. Factors like high mail volume, package inspection, or processing delays can cause the new estimate to be longer than the original one.
Updated delivery timeline
The updated timeline is a more accurate estimate that reflects the actual transit time.
The \"clock\" starts when the package is officially scanned into the USPS system, not just at the time of purchase.
Delays can occur due to various factors that were not accounted for in the initial estimate, including:
*Weather conditions
*Holidays
*Transportation delays
*Internal processing issues
Combined Shipping:
Actual condition/color/style may vary depending on shadowing and computerquality.
