Beautiful Tibetan-style statue depicting Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, holding the raised sword symbolizing the cutting of ignorance. This piece is cast in a bronze/brass alloy and features detailed craftsmanship throughout, including ornate jewelry, crown, and lotus base. It has a naturally aged patina that adds to its character and display appeal. This statue has a traditional hollow consecration base with a removable bottom plate (shown in photos). These types of bases were historically used in Tibetan/Nepalese Buddhist practice to hold sacred contents such as prayers or relics.
