Tobacconist, Indian Profile 21” H. Painted Wood 1928 $295 For Sale

You are viewing an antique, tobacco store, carved wooden, Indian maiden profile. Signed and dated 1928. All carved from a single piece of old growth, pine, one and three-quarter inches thick. The feather had been broken off, but professionally repaired, painted and epoxied. I have had this item for approximately 30 years, purchasing it in an antique store in upstate New York. The man I purchased it from had several other carved masks, from the same tobacco store. But they were pricey at the time, and I only purchased my favorite! This item is signed and dated 1928, a pencil signature, barely legible, reads CANNDA, 1928. This is all the information I have on this wonderful item, thanks for your time in viewing.
