Tungsten takes the record for highest melting point of any metal and is also notable for being much heavier than lead (19 vs 13 grams per cubic centimeter). Stick it under the hottest torch you have laying around and this chunk of metal will giggle because it tickles. Torture it with acid and it'll yawn in boredom. Scratch it with another metal and it'll roll its eyes.
This truly beautiful cube was specially commissioned from a Chinese manufacturer that employs a hi-tech spark erosion process to give unbelievably tight tolerances and a stunning finish. If you've had any familiarity with tungsten chances are you'll know it to be a dark gray metal but with this machining process the metal is delightfully bright and reflective. And so hefty! Made from 99.95% pure tungsten each 10mm cube weighs 19.1 grams, the one inch cube 313±5g and the 50mm weighs a whopping 2300 grams (that's over five pounds!)
Note, again, that these cubes are made from pure tungsten metal without filler ingredients like carbon or nickel that lower the density and purity. They also have no chamfering (beveled edges that are made to hide burs and other imperfections)
