These are both pre-owned classic carved Turkish Sultans / Desert Kings Meerschaum tobacco smoking pipes with bakelite stems.
The smaller pipe has never been used. The larger one has been used for one minute only. Purchaser mistakenly picked up the pipe that he thought he had just purchased, then lit it before the error was brought to his attention.
