This item is a decorative miniature ship model of the US Coast Guard Barque Eagle handcrafted inside a glass bottle.
Subject: A detailed scale model of the USCGC Eagle, a tall ship used for training by the United States Coast Guard.
Construction: The ship is fully rigged and built inside a transparent glass bottle sealed with a cork stopper.
Presentation: It is mounted on a wooden stand labeled \"Eagle\".
Origin: Often produced as souvenirs from the US Coast Guard Academy or nautical gift shops. Although this one is not clearly labeled where it was actually purchased. So I\'m not sure if it was bought initially at the Coast Guard Academy.
