USGI Korean War Era Hood Parka M-1951 Richards Clothing Mfg 6 Feb 1952Overall, the condition is still pretty good. The hood is still very solid and is still very usable. The buttons aren't chipped or cracked. The holes where the coat buttons go through aren't frayed. There is a small hole, see photo 16. It doesn't go all the way through and is about the size of a pencil eraser. There is some light staining on the right side of the hood, see photo 24. It was hard to see.The fur is still attached. The tags are the rough. The tags are stained and have tears. This item does have that old military surplus smell. It smells like it has been sitting around for a long time. I was only able to smell it if I put my face in it. So, it will probably need to be deodorized if you plan to wear it.This item will have to be folded when shipped.The tag says:
