Unusual Whimsical Antique 5" & 6" Bisque Piano Baby Pair Dolls Figurines Germany For Sale

This pair of unusually expressive antique or vintage bisque piano babies, which I believe were made in Germany, are 5" and 6" tall. They have a matte finish with the exception of their ribbons, which have a satin finish. The girl, who is 6" tall, is marked on her base with a crown,an X,and "2877". She has a very large bonnet, molded curly hair, and an unusual, whimsical face with chubby cheeks. The pupils of her painted eyes are actually holes, which give her eyes depth. There is a chip in the back of one end of the bonnet ribbon,a firing dot on her back, and a dimple in her bonnet ribbon,as shown. There is a mark above her left eye. The boy,who is 5" tall, has a large top hat, curly molded hair, and an open/close mouth with molded teeth. Like the girl's,his pupils are holes, giving his eyes depth. He appears to be offering something to the girl, who is looking on coyly. ( I added the flower.) He is marked with numbers on his base. There is a very tiny chip in his hat brim and top,as shown.
