These are rare and highly collectible original 1917 & 1918 Texas radiator seal, the very first and second year Texas issued license plates!
Measuring approximately 4 3/8" and 3 7/8" in diameter, this authentic porcelain-over-metal seal was designed to attach directly to the radiator of early automobiles. It features the classic early Texas design with "TEXAS 1917" and "TEXAS 1918" prominently displayed.
A fantastic piece of automotive and Texas history! These early radiator seals are extremely hard to find, especially in the first year of issuance.
