Vintage metal equestrian figurine of a jockey on a racehorse - supposedly Man O' War - made in the early 20th century by K&O (Kronheim & Oldenbusch), one of the premier art metal manufacturers in America at the time (1910's-30's).
This equestrian figurine depicts a racehorse standing at rest with a jockey on top. The base is sculpted with a rocky terrain and the underside has the manufacturer's emblem reading "K&O Co." It's made of metal with a worn bronze finish and excellent sculptural detail, typical of K&O's top quality metal work. The only damage is to the horse's left ear which is chipped, and a small chip on the bottom of the base. This is supposedly a depiction of the famous racehorse "Man O' War".
It measures 4.5" tall by 4.5" wide by 2.5" deep, and weighs almost 1 lb.
