BEAUTIFUL!
DIRECT METAL SCULPTURE
FLOWER BRANCH
WALL ART!
SUPERB DETAILS!DIMENSIONS: Approximately 18\" x 5\"
Direct metal sculpture came into its own in the mid century period.
Paintings had dominated most fine art in the 18th and 19th centuries
and now in the 20th century metal sculptures were in all the best NY
galleries and these pieces were re-shaping the Art World! This Wonderful Flower Branch is a marvelous piece of mid century
direct metal sculpture. Direct metal sculptures required each piece
to be shaped, sculpted and welded or manipulated into art!
Such pieces are very time consuming and require both an
artists vision and mastery of the machinery used.Nature is re-imagined through the eyes of the metal artisan, sculpted
and shaped to become a reflection of the real thing!
The textural and visual appeal of this piece is sensational! This beautiful work is in excellent condition!
Displays equally marvelously on a wall or a table! This would make a wonderful addition to your NY penthouse,
Palm Springs atomic ranch or Bel Air estate!
