VTG 1940-1950s Hand Woven Pictorial Rug 79x44.5” White/Cream/Black/Gray For Sale

First, sorry my dog is in a couple of pics. She sort of does her own thing 🤣 I got this rug from an estate sale in the Pittsburgh area. The house was gorgeous, mid century modern theme inside and out, and the owners gardens were something out of a fairytale. There were a few family members there that told me that this rug was Navajo made, and that the owner used it as a rug earlier on. But I can’t be sure it’s Navajo, and think it looks more like a Mexican tribal textile. However, it eventually became a wall tapestry. It’s gorgeous, but does have some wear. The strings that hang from the sides are matted, ripped off, and even missing. There is some discoloration on the front and back of this piece. This piece measures about 79x44.5”.
