This is a fantastic, rare survivor of mid-century bar culture: a complete 4-piece Federal Glass Company \"Rumpus Set\" of heavy-bottom whiskey/shot glasses, complete with its original vintage box and cardboard presentation insert.
This specific set features the classic, retro mid-century humorous cartoon illustrations depicting island natives, a boiled explorer in a pot, and wild animals/monkeys done in a stylized, multi-color paint scheme with bright gold-gilded rims.
Set Details & Features:

• Style: Heavy Bottom Whiskies (2 oz capacity)
• Markings: The glasses feature the classic Federal \"F inside a shield\" hallmark molded on the bottom centers.
• Includes: 4x Decorated shot glasses, original inner cardboard staging tray, and original illustrated \"Rumpus Set\" slip-top box lid.

Condition:

• Glasses: Excellent vintage condition. The painted graphics are highly vibrant, crisp, and completely intact. The gold rim detailing shows virtually zero wear. No chips, cracks, or flea bites on the glass.
• Box: The box is structurally intact and holds the glasses perfectly. Shows typical light storage wear, minor corner scuffs, and age-related fading/toning consistent with a 60+ year old cardboard piece. Back has a tiny pencil notation \"m/q\".
