Originally designed by renowned Spanish sculptor Fulgencio García, this beloved model was introduced around 1969–1970 and remained in production for several decades before being retired in the early 2000s. The figurine is marked with an early NAO factory backstamp dating from approximately 1970 to the mid-1970s, making it an attractive early production example.

Backstamp Information
The base features one of the earliest printed NAO marks withthe incised letters and numbers found on the base are factory artisan production codes used during manufacture.
Condition
Very nice vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs were found. There are a few minor rough spots along the edge of the base that occurred during the original manufacturing process (they are glazed over) and are considered factory imperfections rather than damage. The glaze remains bright and glossy, and the figurine displays beautifully. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description and condition report.
This lovely early NAO angel would make a wonderful addition to any Lladró or NAO collection and is a beautiful display piece for year-round décor or holiday decorating.
