This vintage 8-sided glass "Lance" cracker/candy/cookie/peanut advertising iconic jar is a vintage collectible piece featuring the iconic brand logo of Lance. This original multi-color design, originating from the United States, is perfect for those interested in bakery and baking memorabilia. ***Original lid. Both the jar and lid have the Lance brand maker’s mark embossed on the underside/bottoms.
Measurements: ~6.75 tall. Opening is about 5.75” x5.75” in diameter. About 7” at widest (side to side) and about 8” at longest (front to back). Bottom is rectangle and is about 6.5” x 7.25”.
Condition: pre-owned vintage condition. Small chips (aka fleabites) around inner rim that you can see and feel but when the lid is on, you can’t see. Superficial scratches and some clouding of the glass on the bottom base which aren’t visible when the item is upright. The red metal lid has evidence of corrosion and rust and dents/dings including dent to the silver tone finial. Some evidence of minor wear to the Lance red print and/or arrow. Attempted to capture all flaws in pics. Needs a good cleaning!
*vintage glass that has been made by hand-blown techniques may have raised molding lines/edges/ flecks ( not cracks), glass bubbles, and /or black /white specks/flecks/spots (carbon or ash) suspended in or on the glass…. Which are all secondary to the Hand-Blown glass making technique. Each item is handmade and a unique piece.
