Bing and Grondahl was established in 1853 when Copenhagen was still a small town. A young sculptor named Frederik Vilhelm Grondahl and two brothers M. H. and J. H. Bing combined their capital and Bing & Grondahl Porcelain factory became a reality. The company to the Royal Courts of Denmark, Sweden and Great Britain.
