The egg shape item is pre-owned and has been sitting on my shelf for yearsThere is a small mark on the stem/root of the flower and some wear and/or tarnish on the gold-tone surrounding the eggThe oval closes with the clasp but doesn\'t look like it is completely flat when closed, leaving a little space
The hinge also appears tarnished and slightly bent
