Details:

• Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) theme featuring Catrina and Catrín skeleton figures.
• 1990s, authentic, hand-crafted, painted ceramic folk art from Izúcar de Matamoros, Puebla, Mexico. Pieces are marked \"Mexico\", with one signed by artisan Fernando Mercado Castillo, \"F.do MC\".
• Large candelabras have original retail tags from the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) Shop.
• 7-piece matching collection: Large Candelabras (2) - feature calavera figures dressed in traditional formal attire, flanked by floral rings and candle holders. Small Candlesticks (5) - circular and cross-shaped accents decorated with hand-painted birds, flowers, and hanging clay beads.

Condition:

Excellent used, vintage condition. The hand-painted colors are bright, crisp, and vibrant. La Catrina figure has a small crack (see photo #3) on front torso which does not appear to alter structural integrity. No other chips, cracks, or repairs. Hand-molded miniature birds, flower petals, and dangling charms intact. Cosmetic wear consistent with age, including several areas of yellowing, paint loss, flaking, with some exposing the natural tan clay body underneath (see photos). Candle wax remains in 3 straight candlesticks. Unpainted white undersides show normal, minor shelf wear/scuffs consistent with age and display. Hallmarks “Mexico” and “F.do MC” appear on several of the pieces, as do original PMA Museum Shop retail tags. Please see photos.

Shipping Note: These pieces are very fragile, requiring extra protection with bubble wrap and additional packing materials. The extra weight, box dimensions, and insurance are all factored into my higher shipping cost.
