Rare Vintage Otagiri Original OMC Stoneware Japan - Set of 2 Lidded Mugs with Saucer / Coaster Lids - Boy & Girl Faces.
Mid Century Japanese folk art design - ribbed off-white shino glaze with hand painted brown brushstroke faces. Each mug has a boy and girl - lid doubles as saucer / coaster / trivet. Classic 1970s Otagiri stoneware.
Dimensions: 4.4" Tall lidded, 3.7" Tall without lid x 3.25" Diameter. Mugs hold approx 10-12oz. Weight 14oz each, 28oz for pair. Boxed weight approx 3lb.
Material: Heavy ironstone / stoneware, hand painted, glazed interior in speckled olive brown. Unmarked - attributed to Otagiri Japan. Lid fits as saucer.
Condition: Excellent Used - no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Light use wear - see photos - actual set.
